We ended the year 2024 with a light art project in our garage, which we affectionately call "Das Kunsthaus." Inspired by themes from Lithuanian applied art, we created a computer-controlled LED light sculpture that will adorn our car space throughout the winter.

Together with my co-driver, Linas Zvinakevicius, we participated for the second time in the historic car rally "Grand Prix Polski Pojazdów Zabytkowych." The 1,400 km route stretched from Warsaw to the hills of the Carpathian region. Although the entire rally was wet, we were in the lead halfway through. However, entering the mountains made it harder to compete with much newer cars like the Lancia Delta and VW Golf.
Before the final three night special stages, we were just a few seconds behind the leaders. We pushed our dying engine and alternator to the limit, driving all the stages in second gear. However, the final challenge—a series of four fords across a swift mountain stream at the end of the last stage—proved too much. We finished fifth out of 30 participants. us.

Exploring the stunning Silesia region in Poland, we had the chance to experience the Rally Legends event in Kłodzko. Classic rally fans brought out their vintage beauties like the Porsche 912, Toyota, Renault, Volvo, and more. These cars, once champions of the rally tracks, have gathered in the picturesque hills of Silesia. The sound of their roaring engines is pure magic! Take a listen and feel the adrenaline!

The Baltic Way 35 years ago was a powerful symbol of unity and the desire for freedom. 🇪🇪🇱🇻🇱🇹 This year, classic car enthusiasts from Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania retraced the 650-kilometer journey from Tallinn to Vilnius, honoring that historic event. Driving the MGB GT Sebring alongside such a diverse range of classic cars was an unforgettable experience. Grateful for the friendships made along the way!
The MGB GT Sebring is, first and foremost, a classic racing car. Therefore, it belongs on the racetrack. This mission was fulfilled by visiting the best tracks in the Baltic States: the Pärnu "Porsche Ring" in Estonia and Bikernieki in Riga, the capital of Latvia.

First victory of the season! We achieved top accuracy in the largest classic car regularity rally in Lithuania, "Vilduja." This two-day rally spanned across Lithuania and Poland, adding an international flair to the challenge.
The first day and night brought relentless rain, testing our skills as we navigated through the conditions in our 1978 MGB GT Sebring. On the second day, an unexpected challenge arose when the car's wiring caught fire during a speed stage, filling the cabin with smoke.
Despite these hurdles, we persevered and completed all the speed stages, making this hard-fought victory even more rewarding.

Our Automania team embarked on an intense and unforgettable adventure in the Polish Carpathians. Over two days, we took on 16 demanding speed stages and covered 280 competitive kilometers in the regularity discipline.
The journey was far from easy—breakdowns and painful collisions tested both our resilience and our vehicles. Yet, we remained determined, staying as close to the winner's podium as possible. While we didn’t secure a trophy this time, our two 1978 MGB GT Sebrings successfully covered a remarkable 2,500 kilometers, earning us invaluable experience and unforgettable memories along the way!
